Milestones

Milestones are key checkpoints or important events within a project or document that help you track progress and ensure timely completion of tasks. They provide a clear overview of critical deadlines and upcoming activities, making it easier for project managers and team members to plan and manage their work effectively.

Milestones are available at both document level and project level, allowing you to track progress comprehensively.

Updating Milestones


Documents

Default document milestones can be found under Settings → Documents → Milestones.

You can add, edit, or delete milestones as needed.

When adding a milestone:

Enter a name for the milestone.

Set a due date.

Optionally, set a reminder for the milestone:

Choose a date for the reminder.

Set repeat frequency for reminders (until the milestone due date).

Choose notification channels: email, in-app, or both.

Milestones are visible against each document and help track upcoming key actions.

Projects

Default project milestones can be found under Settings → Projects → Milestones.

You can add, edit, or delete milestones for projects.

When adding a project milestone:

Enter a name.

Set a due date.

Optionally, set a reminder (same options as documents).

Project milestones provide an overview of key dates across multiple documents within the project.
